yes i have just recently moved from ellsworth afb south dakota were i handled mainly prairie rattlesnakes and needed no permits to do so but have moved back home to tenn. were i understand we need permits in order to handle hots any and all info would be greatly appreciated and also maybe some leads on hot herp people in the putnam county area.

A good place to start would be to read the regulations at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Open up a zoo. That's your only shot at getting a venomous permit in TN. Very difficult.

i tried e mailing you at home and got a mailer demon so here is just a little info thanks for the help
hello and thanks for the help i have heard it is really hard to get the
permits required to keep hots in the state of Tenn. but i love and care
fro rattle snakes way to much to give up that easy any and all info
would be greatly appreciated i know its hard to talk to someone you have
never meet and don't know who they are so here is some info on me my
name is Christopher m. Copeland i have been stationed in south Dakota at
Ellsworth AFB and finally medically retired after 12.5 years so i moved
back home to Tenn. i live at 456 Allen Dr. cookeville tn 38501 I'm 31
years old and love all snakes but my favorites are the rattle snakes i
really appreciate the help and thanks once again
