actually i did a little checking up on it...most people refer to "harvester spiders" as daddy long legs, but harvesters are not even true spiders...they belong to a seperate group and are completely harmless and definitely not venomous...they eat insects dead or alive....the true daddy long legs spider has never had any type of toxicology work on it and has never been known to bite a human.....they have mouths as big as a brown recluses but might have a different muscular structure to it....so the myth that daddy long legs are the most venomous spider(but cant bite) is shit....i learned something....they dont eat mold though.....poor lil fellow

not to be argumentative but....
" Nocturnal, adults and young feed on many kinds of inverebrates, including other daddy-long-legs, spiders, flies, aphids, leafehoppers, snails, and earthworms. some scavenge dead invertebrates and bird droppings. Others eat the gills of fungi and sugary sweets left as moth bait."~Daddy-long-legs (order opiliones) "harvestmen"
"they prey on small insects and feed on soft, decaying organic matter"~Daddy-long-legs (family Phalangiidea)
both from "National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Insects & Spiders"
check this book out!!!!
later,
ty
P.S.
ya I know it didn't say "mold".....
