I have a female White Lip viper very aggressive feeder. She will open her mouth waiting for the mouse to come within striking range. Hits with a lot of force for a small snake. If the mouse is dropped in the inclosure alive she will stalk it. Then move in for the kill very slowly. After bitting the White lip hangs on until the mouse is dead. When the snake was a baby pinkies would turn a dark purple from the venom.

All my massasaugas are EXECELLENT feeders. Agressive doesn't even begin to do them justice. I keep S.c.tergeminus and S.c.edwardsii. As another post said copperheads are good eaters too.

I'd say it'd have to be a tie between our N. kaouthia and N. siamensis (monocled cobra and black and white spitter). Both will just nail a mouse with ferocity. The siamensis will chase a mouse all over the enslosure if I happen to give him one that can move around well (he's still pretty small) with his mouth open, spitting at the thing and biting all over the place trying to kill it. Last time I gave him one, he latched onto the tail and had a short tug-of-war, and then "walked" up the tail and clamped onto its butt. Ok...so maybe the siamensis is my best feeder...lol. He's a crazy snake though, you gotta watch those little spitters.
