Only Atheris squamiger has shown to be capable of fatal envenomations, according to the Handbook of Clinical Toxicology of Animal Venoms and Poisons. Bites can cause incoagulable blood and the complications that come along with it, i.e. vomiting blood, hypovolemic shock, etc. Swelling and blistering can be expecting in varying degrees.
Typical viper bite protocol should be activated by the victim. Hospital care is primarily supportive, however there is some evidence that SAIMR "Echis antivenom" has paraspecific neutralization of the venom.
That's the most I can come up with for Atheris, so be careful.
