I don't usally get involved in a good cat fight; but it seems to me that there is a certain few at this forum who enjoy starting a bit of trouble or showing their youth; or trailer park ways with their foul mouth in their writings. This forum is for reptile lovers only; not for a bunch of punk kids using their computers; knowing that they would never have to face the folks that they verbally attack; and would go as far to say is a type of internet bully. I'm not really sure who you are refering to in this post but we were discussing a herp related issue and infact no profanity was used and in the end settled things quite respectably. The most vicious remarks came from you. I dont know you well enough to comment on your devotion to the herp-hobby so I won't..but like wise you dont know my love for herps or anything about me...but since you seemed to put me or us down, I will respond...I am a happily married 34 year old, mother of four who has been into hots for almost 14 years. My 8 year old daughters middle name is nia-hannah( look it up if you dont know it)I have handled nearly every readily available species and maintain a decent size collection which includes Ophiophagus, Bothriechis(gold and christmas),several species of Crotalus, one Dendroaspis, a few Bothrops and others . My husband started me into the herp field when we met and we both are proactive in helping to keep the hobby alive belonging to the SHHS and several other oganizations. We have herped with in Costa Rica and Madagascar as well as various other places. We are at every hamburgh swap meet(in case you dont know its one of the only and largest venomous meets in the country) and so I DO get to actually see the people I talk to on here. I do agree with you that some people on here can be quite crude to say the least but our post about the african trip wasnt outa hand or vulgar. So I won't stoop down and trade vicious insults with you( by the way I dont live in a trailer park, I'm not young any more and if you click on my profile you'll see I'm not a punk,either). So relax...Don and I settled our differences and both of us submitted apologies to one another and mine was heart felt...I wasnt intending to offend him, but your words were clearly ment to inflict some sort of insult, which they did. I'm sorry you felt the need to do that.
I too would attend the trip to africa with him if our schedule would permit, I believe Don would provide a wonderful trip.

Just logging in saying hey as a friend of Donald's. Anyone should consider themselves lucky to know him or get a chance to spend some time and talk with him. He's truly an extraordinary man and I can say that I probably won't meet another like him. He's an expert in his field and for him to offer to lead people around to share his knowledge of what he loves, is very generous and unfortunately, his type of selfishness is usually unheard of here in America. I hope, if not this year, I can definately accompany him the following year on a similar trip. Don's personality, intelligence, sense of humor, and passion for his work is breath taking. I consider him one of the best at what he does. Although myself, I'm just really starting out with reptiles, I'm no stranger to dangerous animals, but I more work with the preditory cats, but I really hope to learn as much as I possibly can from Don. I don't think he really knows how much I appreciate what I get from him...so for that and much much more, thanks Donald! =) I'll never take you and your teachings for granted. Just don't forget to drop me a line once in awhile when you're back in SA ok? =)

I didnt realize this was a mens only site...but since this is YOUR forum, give me permission your majesty, and I'll teach you a few things about hot herps, its obvious you could use the help, and sadly it seems that you know even less about women...no need to reply, I dont really feel the need to waste any time on you....by the way if you need that education look me up at our table at hamburgh on Oct 19..
