Thank you for the kind words. I imagine that my profile kind of gives the impression that I'm a happy go lucky flooky, but I assure you that aside from the offbeat and admitedly wierd sense of humour, I am quite a serious amature herpetologist. I've herped in California and Egypt and will probably be spending some extended herping time in Iraq in the near future. (Most of my herping comes with business....alas...) I do ask that I not be judged totally on that wierd sense of humour. Also, there is no d in my name. (Not a major thing, but at first I thought that you were intentionally misspelling my name.) And, FYI, the alien's metal probe not only gives them a direct link to my thoughts, but I get great reception to HBO. And if I removed it now, I'd miss the season premier of the Sopranos. (I might add that the Aliens were not pleased with your suggestion and they will be contacting you. I think that you'll find them *very* persuasive.)
Cheers
Roger

Roger,
I have read your replys and comments before, and I knew you were a serious herper... that you took the time to get more educated on the subject of herps as well as share your knowledge in the forum...and it always seems well thought out and highly accurate. So know I did not judge you on you sense of humor, and I really never even thought about the "D" I had put in your name so sorry for the typo... although free handling venomous herps(or venomoid which ever that is) could cause some to read you wrong..(thats not an insult so please lets not start again..lol) However, I would enjoy some of those fancy french pastries and cresants...mail them out when you get the chance.
Anyhow..happy herping in Iraq, try and photo some Cerastes...or do you keep what you find? And the probe...if it guides you in your herp journies, keep it in...but I would suggest another location than the one you say in your profile..might be more comfy elsewhere. As for me I enjoyed the X files and thats the most contact I've had so send them over.Do you really think there are extra-terrestrial(?)reptiles eleswhere in the gallaxy?

I am not really a pastery chef...although--and I don't want to toot my own horn here--I think that my fruitier-than-Boy-George cake is pretty good. And my burbon-glazed chicken is excellent. (Donald's sis will attest to this, alas, Donald wasn't really coherent for that meal...)
As far as the probe.... I don't really know if there are extraterrestrials out there or not. Would I be suprised if on some distant planet the forces of life and caused a species and Homo sapiens to convergently evolve? As Mr Spock would be fond of saying, "there are always possibilities". If there are aliens, I hope they're Vulcans.
Cheers
Roger
