I live in Austin, Texas and would like to know some good spots for catching cottonmouths, copperheads, and any other snakes. Any advise would be great.

Paul, All I can tell you is to get out and look. You got to pay your dues.
Study the species you are interested in and soon, you will find them because you will know about them.
The best way to catch snakes is with a camera.
