I mean is the wheather good in Texas and Florida?
Are people seeing things out and about?
What has been seen and what time of day?
What where the temps/wheather like for that day?
Does anybody have any pics or good herping stories to share?

Been a wet and rainy spring in central Oklahoma, and wildlife is abundant. Three totally random encounters with rat snakes in the past two weeks (one in a neighbor's yard, 1 DOR en route to a stable in NE OKXC, 1 AOR the same.) Spoke to one acquaintance (not interested in herps) who volunteered that in a two mile hike at one of the OKC reserviors, well inside city limits, saw five snakes. So rain = grass = rodents = herp heaven this year. Also seeing a lot of raccoon and possum activity, both DORs and tracks in yard.

Cool, some people are finding/seeing things, keep us posted on this and let us know when something rare comes along.
My mom, stepdad have an old flat bottom boat sitting in the yard, and every time I go there I flip the boat to one side and check to see if anything has made its way under there, last night I found an almost 3 ft female Eastern Garter Snake as big around as a shovel handle!!! The biggest I have ever seen, she makes my other 2 2 Ft Garters (the size of a fat crayon) look like babies.
Last year under the same boat I found an Eastern Milk, 2 Garters, 3 Ringnecks, and a small Black Racer all at the same time!(my stepdad is scared crapless of snakes,so I get to take them home!)
So I am seeing stuff, just no Hots yet.
