I have two Rattlesnakes that are half New Mexican Prarie And Arizona Mojave Rattlsnake. How does this effect the potency of the snakes venom.

It's hard to say for sure what venom properties your hybrid inherited from its parents. The science of venom alone in a single species is a very deep subject in itself. Factor in a hybrid and not only do you have genetics to deal with but toxicology as well. Potency and composition can vary in a single species throughout varying geographic ranges. Too many factors are in question with your hybrid and I doubt anyone here with the acceptation of Dr. Fry could give you an educated answer. I would say more importantly just don’t get bit.

By the way judging by the way your profile is written it looks to me like you shouldn’t be keeping those rattlesnakes anyway. You put your goal in herpteculture is to “tame and befriend snakes.” Snakes are not domesticated and you certainly will not be around for the millions of years it takes to “domesticate” an animal. My man you just don’t sound like you harbor good sense enough for hots. Not trying to be cynical just trying to be honest. Also, that is probably the reason no one has taken the time to answer your question as most would deem it a waste of their time. Stay safe.
