Red-eared sliders . . . always a treat to see them stacked up sunning on a log.

I've always liked the Fox snakes I caught as a kid, Bull/Pine/Gopher snakes, and Jungle Carpet pythons. Marty

I am really interested in North American snake species. At home I have 1.0 yellow ratsnake (Pantherophis [Elaphe] obsoleta quadrivittata), 1.1 Great Basin gophersnakes (Pituophis catenifer deserticola), and 1.0 rubber boa (Charina bottae). I would love to work with coachwhips (Masticophis flagellum ssp.) and glossy snakes (Arizona elegans ssp.).
I also love crocodilians. At Reptile World I work with 1.2 Nile crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus), 0.1 saltwater croc (Crocodylus porosus), 1.0 American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) and 0.0.2 spectacled caiman (Caiman crocodilus).
The crocodilians fascinate me. They definitely recognize different people and their complex social behaviors are amazing.
Rob, I just picked up a copy of the 2002-2005 IHS Proceedings. I really enjoyed your papers on the Eastern indigo snake and the Great Lakes bushviper. Well done!

Glad you enjoyed the IHS proceedings. There are some excellent papers in there and I had a great time presenting my papers in Phoenix and having the time of my life herping in the desert. I'd like to talk to you about your experiences with salties. We just acquired a beautiful hatchling and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Email me if you want at frasershawn@hotmail.com
I'll offer what I can, but from reading your posts on this site, and your IHS papers, I should be the one asking you questions!
