I was talking to a college prof. up here and said that Rep.s hitched rides on metrorites or astoroids to Earth!

That depends on what you mean by 'Reps'. If you mean republicans, then you might be on to something. If you mean reptiles then either you need to listen better, or that professor needs to be retired.
Seriously, though, what kind of evidence could he possibly be leaning on? If there is no evidense (and I suspect there isn't) then we're talking speculation, not hyposthesis (Jusy FYI it's not considered a theory in biology until it is well supported by a body of evidence and widely accepted).

He may be referring to the panspermia theory that life on Earth arose from bacteria brought here from outside sources. Not necessarily reptiles themselves.

I figured. I just wanted to crack a little joke. I'll try to be more serious from now on. So who's up for a little debate? We can make it a battle royale!
Panspermia vs.Evolution vs. Special Creation vs. Giant Spaghetti Monserism vs. Scientology

While I personally wouldn't rule out Panspermia, the idea that reptiles came from outer space is just silly. All you have to do is look at a few skeletons and you can see that they evolved from the same ancestors (at some point) that all the other higher vertabrates did. (Except maybe elephants. Their skulls look like something from outer space to me.)

I like to think that Earth is the Alien Planet. I believe that there is life out there. (I refuse to believe the world is flat)
Who is to say that Earth isn't the one deep in outer space? Is Earth and Humans privileged enough to be at the center of it all? I think not. Earth and its living things is alone and isolated in space.

And by the way, it's a good thing no other living planets are around Earth. Humans as a whole are a virus to living planets, we are slowly killing the planet that created us.

Depends on your point of view I guess...
It was possible for us to evolve because plants and other animals came along and changed the world before us. Thousands, if not millions of species died out as a result of plants lowering the carbon dioxide levels and raising the oxygen. The things that could adapt flourished and evolved. Thus, smarter monkeys. Maybe it's the reptiles' turn again. They'll just be in Canada this time...
