I also will go with the S. Copperhead. The pink hue that some have is absolutely stunning.

I have to say the purplish broadbands. I have one that is the purplish with nice almost white bands. It's a good looking animal.

Sorry John,
I don't get in here all that often, wasn't ignoring you. I can get some shots and get them posted up. Give me a few days..I'm up to my neck in herp stuff at the moment.
Better yet.....Larry, if you're lurking here can you get a shot or two of that one you have at home?

I order of personal preference (again species of focus here for me)
Mexican Pictigaster (Sexually dimorphic, males tend to be much darker arterial red with silver almost white thin bands )
Kentucky Northerns, from the western part of the state vary from slate grey pumpkinheads to solid red adults
Missouri and Kansas OSAGES, LOVE the grey purples and high white lines along the bands
W tx broadbands, nice oranges and bricky reds
Southerns, love SC coastals with super thin bands and nice almost white backgrounds, and Georgia pinks, nice rose hues.
They do change as they grow, most coppers are all born a kinda silver grey, and tru pecos almost black. they grown into there colors over time. But as previous posts have stated, non intergrade TRUE transpecos are very hard to find, even at the san antonio show. But when u do they are a sight to behold.
