You removed the sharp rock? that's a good starter.
Here we go: catch the snake (sounds easier than done) try to tube it, this works best for me. Clean the wound with a desinfectans (Iodine or betadine, and let the wound dry.
Do not cover it up with bandages or ointments or whatsoever (the snake won't like it, and it slows down the healing process)
A scab will appear and with a few sheds only a little scar will remain.
IF the wound starts bleeding, or leaking any kind of material, or if it smells bad or turns black: contact your veterinairian ASAP
Good luck and with regards
Peter

I would spray the damaged area with diluted hydrogen peroxide followed by a spray with distilled water. Then apply Neosporin with a Q tip to keep things clean. A restraining tube may be required for this. My vet directed me to use Neosporin and it will work for a snake. Providing the cut is minor and a bad infection dosen't start up.

As stated, clean with proxide and keep neosporin on it. I my collection, I have seen this stuff before and this method has ALWAYS worked. I start with a light scrub of saline solution, though. I once had to care for a boa baby that was given a wild caught adult rat-live!!! The idiot left the rat in the tank overnight and thoughout the entire day. That evening, he found the hunter had become the hunted!!. It took 7 weeks to get the snake back into play. The snake did not like me and I did not like the snakes' owner for all the trouble. I was tempted to confinscate it but the owner is a cop!!!!
