I would like to thank Dana Savorelli and all of his staff at Midwest Tongs for stepping up to the plate and becoming the first corporate sponsor for the NC Association of Reptile Keepers. This alliance would not be possible without the vision and leadership of the President of the Southeastern Hot Herp Society, Chris Harper. Thank you Chris!
Midwest has clearly demostrated that it is willing to step up and financially back the herp community in it's effort to educate the public and various state legislatures as to the realities of herpetaculture, instead of allowing the prevailing myths being promoted by various Animal Liberation groups to be their only source. The Animal Protection Institute or API (now known as Born Free USA)and the Humane Society of the United States or H$U$ has been able to promote half truths and outright lies for many years completely unopposed. Now with the efforts of NCARK and Midwest Tongs they will no longer have that luxury.
Facts, good science and the light of truth are our weapons. The "Cold Blooded Mafia" grows stronger by the day!!
Thank you,
Andrew Wyatt
Pres/NCARK
