Yep, the videos that AL puts on UTube are Excellent. They are very educational, and well planned, and nicely filmed.
That is the problem with an open format like UTube - there will be great videos, and lousey ones.
Hopefully, folks are smart enough to know the difference !

It irritates me to no end to see people who have no intuitive knowledge of snakes beyond what they have seen on animal planet try and post a video like this. No one wants to crack a book these days! Someone like this guy will never achieve any decent level of herp knowledge being a know it all and defending his ignorance. He has posted a reply directed to all the people who have tried to tell him that his info is fallacy and down right harmful. And I don’t know where he gets the idea that all of the learned posters belong to a snake cult. Anyway I think he blocks everyone who disagrees with him. I think Al should make a video response. This guy is so stupid that he won’t even listen to people like Jim Harrison! This guy thinks there are only two types of venom Hemo and Neurotoxins!
I know he isn’t worth arguing with but his videos are harmful and idiotic.

the venom thing was somethin that irritated me a lot too. I think it's incredibly stupid and condescending of him to tell people who own venomous snakes to be careful because the can hurt you......keep in mind this guy only keeps BPs, some boas, and I think i saw a sav in one of the other videos. I checked out some of the other ones to see if they were all just as stupid as the others and they are....now sure I'm not keeping hots yet and yeah I have a Bp and some boas but I'm not broadcasting false info on youtube. I also know there are plenty more types of venom and not just neuros and hemos.
