John that is a good idea. I have one person ready to do the bio part so I'll keep working on the rest.

Maybe a " visiting expert " type of class would work ,
different people sharing their knowledge ? I don't know
much , and I've never gotten an answer like that on this site .

I'll offer an added reason why you didn't get many replies.
While I for one, might go so far as to consider myself an "expert" in the context of answering specific questions on a board like this, it sounded like you were looking for someone with intimate knowlege of the biology/anatomy of reptiles well beyond what I can offer. So I din't reply.
Also, I just went to the web site in your profile to get a better idea of what you're looking for and I get a blank page...

"I can also garantee you will have a large number of people who will follow your section."
I agree with Larry. The proposal has no real focus (from basic biology up to venomous snakes?). Sorry, my opinion. Certainly, feel free to prove me wrong.

Eric's profile works just fine for me.
Anyway, speaking of profiles,(not profiling) I checked profiles of people who are kind of reluctant to help Eroc and giving him a cold shoulder...and WOW, the very people that are giving Eric cold shoulder say on their profile "find a mentor".
Isn't that what Eric is doing, looking for a mentor to others???
Hey, do as you preach.

Tiger9,
Since you asked the question, question, question (???). No, no, no. Mentorship is not a book, forum, or website. Suggesting focus is not a cold shoulder, it is just advice. Take it or leave it for what it is.
Thanks,
Jim

No, it is not advice, advice would be to explain what you mean by 'focus' and how to achieve it, be more specific/constructive in your 'advice'.
As it is now, Eric said he wants to go somewhere, you told him he was going in the wrong direction, aka , is on the wroing road, but you still didn't tell him which road he should take to go in the correct direction.

I guess that would depend on what your definition of the word "is" is. I am just going to agree with you (with fingers crossed).
