It was a pretty day in Chattanooga, TN. I saw several people out riding for the first time this season. I have had a bike pretty much all of my life. My grandfather bought me Honda 80cc when i was about 5 or 6 years old. Had one pretty much ever since. I never invested in anything very extravagant. I currently have a 1988 model Harley Davidson 883. I never embraced the biker life style, but I have always loved to ride. I noticed over the years that most people who are interested in snakes tend to like to ride and a lot of people that ride tend to like snakes. I was wondering who all on this site rides and what they have? Thank you.

Many years ago, I owned a CAN-AM 125 MX dirt bike, and later a Honda 750 street bike, then a YAMAHA MX 125, and a SUZUKI 250L.
I dont care to ride a street bike anymore, with all the trafic around here.
It would be fun to find an old, fairly quiet dirt bike that needed fixing up to putter around in the wood with.
Best Regards JohnZ

I don't have a bike, but I married a 'biker chick'...
We had kids; the bike got sold. They just don't put enough room on the back of a Rebel for two carseats lol

My 1985 Yamaha XJ700N Maxim is the perfect vehicle for those short excursions to the woods and streams (not to mention the store for a few small items). It runs well but was pretty old and beat up when I got it (I’m the 5th title holder). Half the fun is searching the internet for hard to find OEM parts and refurbishing it as close to original as possible.
