I said U. S. Copperheads to differentiate them from Australian Copperheads which are much more deadly elapid snakes from the Land Down Under.
I know that many people are unfamiliar with the concept of searching out already published information for themselves so I have taken the liberty of searching through our archives for these links to already published information on U. S. Copperheads.
Hope these are of use to anyone looking for information on keeping US Copperheads (Agkistrodon contortix).

Those are pretty good links that Karl has posted concerning keeping of copperhead snakes.
Anyone who is interested in keepin that species should pay attention to those articles, as they offer some good advise.

Looks like I have some reading material for later tonight. Seeing as how I keep that species I may learn something new. And that is always a plus.
Thanks for posting.
