I was checking out around Yahoo answers when I saw this question. I sure hope this is someone's idea of a joke and not a true story.

Unfortunatly, it probably is real, if he knew enough to mention Hamburg.
Hope he has sense enough to keep the doors and windows closed so that the rattlesnake remains in the house.
Should not be all that difficult to find a large WDB Rattlesnake.
Just stomp around all of the floors to set up vibrations that will hopefully cause the snake to buzzzzzzzz.

I am really glad that was a joke. When I saw Hamburg named I got concerned it might have some merit.

I went back and could find nothing about it being a joke, all it says is resolved.
Perhaps the guy actually did lose a rattlesnake, then found it again, and then said he was joking, hoping that would lessen just how stupid he appears to be ?

It's now been removed, but when I looked there was a notation under the first reply that looked something like (paraphrased):
"Asker Rating: (1 star) Of course it's a joke you idiot, I'm 13, blah, blah, blah...."
