I love my venomous herp books. I am looking to increase my library. What are some of your favorite books?

I have quite a few and find myself most often flipping through "Venomous Reptiles of Latin America" and "Biology of the Pit Vipers". I also enjoyed reading "Biology of the Seasnakes". The two snakebite books I most like are "Snakes and Snakebite" by Visser and Chapman and of course Findley Russel's book.
And while not specifically a venomous snake book, I think every enthusiast would enjoy reading the autobiography "Sun, Sand, and Snakes" by Stephen Sprawls.

And how could I forget "Snakes of the Agkistrodon Complex". I also have a first edition set of Klauber's two volume set on Rattlesnakes but I don't pick that up for casual reading. I probably should get a reprint for that purpose.
Another one on my wish list is also not strictly venomous related... "Snakes of Uganda" by Pittman.
Hopefully "Biology of the Vipera" will be good.

You could start by looking in our products review pages at the books section.
Here is the link:

Many people find what they are searching for at Amazon.com
I usually check with Larry Kenton at:
http://www.mdreptilefarm.com/
His site does not give much of a description of the book but if you know that author's name and the title, you can usually find what you are looking for.

LANDSCAPE WITH REPTILE
An astonishing book by Thomas Palmer.
Published byTicknor & Fileds from NY in 1992
A biograpy on Crotalus horridus, everything, from the evolution of the rattler species to the effect of a bite, the history of the native indians in its home range and experience from the author in a well written easy to read book. I've read it about 10 times, and it's the only book I lend out to friends with the same interest. In my opinion a must have fot the horridus enthousiast.
With regards,
Peter "snakeskin" Schilperoord
