This is what AR really want, to feed lions vegetables, since many snakes are meat eaters too, I guess it applies to you guys here too, change that viper's diet;-)

This reminds me of a nutritionist who, some years back, was quoted in the New York Times (the newspaper of record for those who weren't aware) approximately as follows, "The homeless should eat fruits and vegetables, and whole grains."
(This was a horrified reaction to the equally horrifying conclusion of some idiotic survey that reported that many 'homeless' ate at McDonalds.)
I have long maintained that there is an infinitely subtle 'stupid virus' that is relentlessly infecting most of the population of the world. 'Meat eaters should eat vegetables' merely confirms my hypothesis.
Cynical addenda:
My wife, an NP working in a NY hospital emergency room, recently observed that, on the average, adding the IQ of all the patients in the ER and then dividing that number by the number of patience in the ER invariably results in a number of less than three digits. This is depressing.
Addenda two, for anyone who accidentally read my profile:
No, even though my wife WORKS in NY, we do not LIVE in NY. Thank God.

Should have read, "dividing that number by the number of patients"
That wasn't the 'Stupid Virus.' It was the 'Senility Virus.' The latter is excusable if you are over thirty. The former isn't.

As a friend of mine once observed, "if we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made of meat?"
My, the tangents we get off on in these "reptile" forums are truly amazing.... and entertaining. It is also gratifying to my inner English teacher to see such self-flagellating grammar-consciousness in action.
23bms, you are right... there has been a "stupid virus" infecting the population for over a half-century now, only it's not a virus, it's a drug, and it's called "television."
Think I'll go have some raw meat now... wards off senility, you know.

Don't get me started on television. I'm one of the few people in this country who, by choice, doesn't own one. I'd rather roast in Hell, in the unlikely event there is such a thing.

Few days ago, in the rare event when I did NOT fall asleep in front of the TV, tired,(don't hate me for owning TV) there was this comedian on Comedy Channel who asked (I am paraphrasing):
'If the hot air rises, is hell really hotter then heaven?'
