I would love to hear a summary of folks impressions after they watch the show.
I will not be able to see it, as I do not have cable or sattelite.
Best Regards John Z

John, It will scare the hell out of even some of the old keepers here! I'm not as bothered by it as the people I called (to make them watch it lol), as I'm not terribly squeamish compared to most.
But oh the pain! A good reality check for any complacent keeper of any age. Perfect thing to "keep me on my toes".
I wish I could tape it so we would have it availiable on this site, for all those "expert" keepers like Muffdaddy. LOL..
VERY impressive for discovery channel. Very useful and factual information. Gruesome worse-case scenarios of limbs melting away, etc..
4/5
Glad I have somthing to watch!

calm down, few weeks ago a guy/volunteer got attacked at big cat MO sanctuary and lost part of his leg, I was not feeling good for a while. But then i reminded myself of Las vegas loser tourist on drigs drunke traffic and horrible/disfiguring injuries car driving can cause...just puttign it in perspective...also, do NOt sniff the bleach u keep around the house it can burn your lungs, do not clean a loaded gun, do not use ladder after a rain for roof repair, SLIPPERY, u can bereak your neck...too much soap in the tub makes it slippery, cleanliness is dangerous, another broken neck, stairs, forget it , more broken necks...
OK, time for me to use the dangerous slippery soap

Watched it, thought it was very interesting and very informative. I agree with those saying that it should be an eye opener for even the long time keeper and should be most of all, for the new keeper or those wanting to start keeping.
Still wondering why the guy that got tagged in the hand by the rattler, was sliding his hand up the body of the fresh "Wild Caught" rattler, free handling??? Not a good idea!!!
Also like the fact that it showed the BEES and Spiders, glad to see Discovery Ch. air this. Great job Discovery.

I enjoyed the show. I taped it with DVR and watched 2 times now. It was very straight forward and factual. Show did not really bring up for discuss keeping of venomous reptiles by private collectors. The first story of the "Stiletto" snake was very well documented and the first hand accounts/video/audio was very interesting. Seems like I have heard of those snakes being called Burrowing Asps also. Is that another common name for them?
