I've noticed that there seems to be a shortage of real-time, accurate, information for husbandry information regarding venomous snakes. I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in a message board or e-list to deal with specific questions regarding both??? I can set up a bravenet message board that can be monitored for trolls a little more closely than the Kingsnake forums are, and I'd gladly do it if there's enough interest. There are PLENTY of smart folks out there in venomous-snakekeeping-land, and I'm sure we could get a decent amount of information collected in a short period of time, including a FAQ page, if the interest is there..... I'm open to thoughts, suggestions, comments and offers of support and volunteers to help should this take off.... This site has an amazing amount of information in it already but I can see how some additional features would enhance the already great VenomousReptiles.org

Care sheets. Tom, we have a file library where people can write care sheets and upload them in either Word format, or as a PDF file. The library is very similar to the photo albums. We've just never activated it. If the surfers of this site upload the files, they will be freely accessible to everyone.
I have to fix a problem with our FTP, but after that, I can activate the file library if people are willing to utilize it.

Hey Chris,
I Like the ftp idea, and the capability to upload files or caresheets.... let me know if it becomes a possibility.... I'd like to start with some basics and move on to more advanced keeping concepts.... basic husbandry, then move to more heady stuff.... nothing to do with handling as much as diet, frequency of feeding, temps. humidity, etc..... Folks with specific needs can request help, etc.......

Hey Tom T., Being fairly new to the hobby(Only keeping venomous snakes for about a year now) your idea sounds great and I am very interested in it. It would be very nice to have a place to see caresheets and husbandry information. Maybe once I get a little more experience I can write some caresheets of my own to contribute. Which I would be more then happy to do. I hope you can put something together and keep us updated! Thanks, Derek E.

This has nothing to do with care sheets. I just want to say thank you to Tom. He is ALWAYS going out of his way to help people out. This forum would not be the same without him. He is full of knowledge and a very helpful individual..............Thanks again OLD MAN,for everything
