i mean, i have checked out ohio and the show i keep coming up with is the cleveland show, but nothing venomous.

the northeastern ohio show has been cancled it looks like for good, so i guess my options are to find a really reputable internet dealer, or drive.

One of the best ways to find Reptile Shows is to look in the current issue of Reptiles Magazine.
They have a section in the back that goes by month, and you can find shows all over the country that way.
It is far better than anything I have found on the web so far.

yeah, i get that. nothing venomous around me in there, just a taylor michigan show, which i have been to once and will never go back to. very small. i could probibly have fit the whole show in my garage. thanks for the info though....Danny

As far as "reputable" breeders/collectors you might might online from, perhaps you should try
www.venom-center.com/forums .....
Alot of the members here are also members of venom-center. The V-C forums seem to be more husbandry related. Alot of scientific info and debate come up here, but the V-C site seems to have a "smaller scope".
There are many people, some VERY knowledgeable I would trust there. It is a very "family like" site in some ways, and is much more a little community in itself.
I have never bought an animal from anyone from V-C, but I am pretty sure I would trust most of the people breeding venomous there.
The only real way to know is to go check it out for yourself. From what I've heard about the more better-know names there, most people get some very good quality, healthy animals from those guys.
Shipping always sucks, but I know alot of people there will give you as much honest info and pictures as you request.
Just gotta be smart, and "get a feel" for people.
I wish I could back this up with fact, and I am only stating my own opinions, but I would trust some of the more reputable folks there..

I know how you feel. The Hamburg Show is a 19 hour drive from where I live, LOL.
