I have many many reptiles but only copperheads when it comes to hots. soon my friend and i want to get eastern diamond back rattlers...can someone tell me what to exspect and watch out for.
also i have a savannh monitor and i want to tame it like Muffdaddy has and have it get along with other snakes and lizards..when i asked him he told me that it is really risky and should not be done.
can anyone help me with that?

yes always use hooks, learn how to read body language and always leave your self an out just incase he strikes and then keeps moveing towards you, so u dont get pinned against a wall, always make sure a nearby hosp has antivenom on stock and make sure to keep a venom extractor close by and if you want some experience before you have a actual snake that can kill you concider a venomoid, they still hurt but will not kill you

i heard alot of bad things about venomoids like firstly its not right and secondly they can regrow their glands

stay away from muffdaddy, he is trouble he does not know what he is talking about also do not consider venomoids if you cant deal with a venomous snake dont get one, also fill in your profile so people can awnser your question more easily, arin

i would prefer to remain the way i am..i am new to forums and am getting used to them...
like i said i have copperheads..so i can hanlde hots
-as far as Muffdaddy2 goes (and i dont want to get into a BIG DEBATE) he is not perfect but has dont great things for this hobby..things people though were not possible like the savs doing all these amazing things..i just want to know how and he said that it should not be attemppted becuase there are risks the animals...he has neevr steared me wrong..it seems to me hes a threat to the older herpers...but like i said i dont want to get into a debate about him.

great i really appricate it...i have seen picture of eastern bites and they look very VERY serious...i have one souther copperhead..its got a real bad attitude...i dont know if you have seen Animan from Muff's videos but their copperhead is seriously well behaved comapred to mine...but i mind my distance and watch the body langauge...i have also heard about the neru toxin factor with the eastern vs regular southern copperheads. i know that myh local hospital carries crofab
