BLOOD IN THE VIPER'S STOOL

One of my ammodytes viper had blood in it's stool and after few days died. Did anyone have this experience and why can something like this happen?

How long did you have the animal? Was there any chance of parasitic or bacterial infection? New food source? Blood in stool can be symptom of parasitic/bacterial infection.

Sounds like a case of an animal not treated for parasites and quarantined, which then due to stress succumbed to the infestation. Sorry for your loss.

Carmen, I really hope that if you have other snakes you had this snake quarantined away from the rest of your collection. If not, I would recommend you get fecal exams done at a veterinarian for your other snakes.

This is a good lesson for everyone....quarantine, quarantine, quarantine and run fecals and bloodwork RIGHT AWAY soon after acquisition. In this case, it sounds like it may have been too late but hopefully, this animal was away from any other animals in your collection. If not, start running fecals and run some bloodwork. Not cheap, but necessary.
