In my experience in the past 7 months I have found that people will say things that are far from the truth and instead of other folks knowing the facts they just agree with the people and believe what they are saying about these people. I think we should find out who it is they are bashing and find out what kind of person they are and if what the person is saying is true before calling them names and bashing them. I do not visit the BOI any more because of this I had a guy with tanzanian puff adders for sale when I found they were not tanzanian I backed out of the deal for this he bashed me and said I had bad business ethics. I had a guy tell me he had adult sidewinders he wanted to trade for my gaboon when they got to my door (airborne express) they were babies that would not eat that died 2 weeks later. I told him I found it was illegall to ship hots airborne and could not ship the gaboon and would meet him and give it to him which he would not do for this deal he bashes me, Mr. Ihrke traded me 2 cottonmouths, 1 copperhead and a canebrake for a gold sumatran spitting cobra that I told him I did not want to ship in the cold but he could not wait. I shipped it airborne express, before I knew this was illegall, and it died from what he said. I asked him to send it back and he said he threw it away already. He told me he had no money and he wanted a snake real bad. he made me feel sorry for him so I told him I would send another snake when the weather permitted. I then found it to be illegall to ship airborne and cannot ship I told him this and he went ballistic. He now bashes me for this. A man I do not even know named Mike Johnson emailed and called me things and said I did not know how to take care of snakes and ya da ya da and he bashes me for what he reads on the BOI. I have met a couple of times with Steve Himes who I thought was a friend but he claims I spoke to him about airborne being illegall before all this happened and refers everyone who says something about me to the BOI I may have know airborne did not want you to ship but I did not know it was breaking the law till I found out later. For these reasons he is bashing me. I ASK EVERONE TO READ THIS AND FIND ON YOUR OWN HOW I AM AND TO MIKE JOHNSON AND STEVE HIMES IF I HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO YOU I AM SORRY AND DID NOT DO IT INTENTIONALLY. TO ALL THE OTHERS YOU GOT ME FIRST SO OWN UP TO YOUR OWN FAULTS. I am thankfull for this website and do not want to see harsh language in the classifieds I am sorry you had to see that. A lot of us know MR. Kirk. And know, he says things that are not true. The real story is, That I fabian Ihrke, Sent MR. Kirk 5 of my snakes, 2>cottons 1>canbrake and 1>s.copper. All eating and fine. For his gold sumatran spitting cobra. After me trusting him to send me my snakes, I shipped mine first. He got mine, And I did not get his. After several days, and many e-mials, And several excuses. I got the snake, A rotten cobra. That smelled so bad, I still smell it. The temp. Outside was in the 70s not 40s. Anyway,I told him and he siad he would send me something else to make it up. after a few months. I was still getting the same story. It was to cold. it was this, that, and (well you guy's know.)Well after a post on SHHS classifieds I got an e-mail back from a gentlmen, saying he traded with a Robert Kirk. a sumatran spitting cobra, for some of Roberts snakes. Robert called him after the snakes were shipped and siad the cobra was dead when he got it. so the guy sent Robert more. Then Robert sent the dead cobra to me, For my snakes.It is to bad people like this try to drag down others. When thay are the ones at falt.I am not a rip-off. I have never hurt anyone, I like being honest. And if the guy who traded Robert Kirk the Sumatran cobra see's this would you add your commets to this. Thanks all Good day. Spanky (Fabian Ihrke)

I am going to say this just one more time to you fabian it was not chance duncan's sumatran spitter I have told chance that and if he would tell you anything about me he got two nice blackneck spitters that both ate. I ask you WAS THE CANEBRAKE THIN OR NOT? see if you can tell the truth. and if you will add 1 canebrake 2 cottonmouths and 1 southern copperhead is 4 snakes and not 5 in the usa maybe in alaska it is 5 but not here. SEND THE SNAKE BACK TO ME AND I WILL REFUND MINUS WHAT I HAVE SPENT ON THE TRASH YOU SENT. If chance believes you it is on him I have done nothing to him either. Karl Ramsdell has done business with me ask him or Kent Kline and I could go on and on. These guys know nothing about me I have not done business with anyone here but Kent Kline and he can tell you how it went. I just want you to answer the question in case you forgot WAS THE CANEBRAKE THIN AND SICK OR NOT I am waiting your answer Mr. Ihrke

Why dont you guys bicker through e-mailing each other? I love to visit this forum and read eveyones articles,but this stuff is like being in elementary school!!!!!

Not to add to the controversy, but since I was asked to post, I'll post. I e-mailed Fabian to see what kind of snake it was that had died when he received it, and it seemed like a pretty big coincidence. However, Robert informed me that he has a few Sumatran spitters now, or then anyway, so whatever, no big deal.
By the way, Robert, the black necks are doing great. They eat like their's no tomorrow, and are growing like weeds. The female is probably going to turn out to be one of those 7'+. Can't wait for that. They've stopped spitting (already, excellent), and will nail food right off the hemos. And as a side note...the larger one (the female, I believe), has now earned my utmost respect. She hit her mouse the other day (was curious to see the kill time), and had that thing down and out within 10 seconds. And all that from a 1.5' cobra! Wow, I was impressed. I'll send ya some updated pictures of them sometime to show you how much they've grown.

Hey chance that is great to hear I am thinking of selling my male gold sumatran he is not a good breeder it seems. If I decide to let him go I will let you know. I am trying to work things with fabian out I think we will get it over with when things warm up if I cant get Ray at exotic reptiles to send him something first. Drop me some pics when you can of the blacknecks that would be great see ya BOb
