I know this has nothing to do with the point of this post... But why would anyone make Sand Boas be illegal?

It's the result of people who know nothing about snakes making laws to regulate them. They most likely have a list of "dangerous animals" or somesuch that includes "boa constrictors".
A few places outlaw all "constrictors". One result, of course, is that you can be fined for illegally keeping a "dangerous animal"...over a corn snake.

Z, ever try bourbon? Goes great w/ egg nog, and really cuts down on the kick.
I don't keep sand boas myself... much too dangerous.

I used to be briefly into drinking GlenLivet, I am into vodkas now. Back in cold WA it was mostly red wine. Before I moved to WA state in mid 1990s , I had a drink maybe 3 times per year, but the grey WA sky just makes you drink.
I have a very scary albino corn snake around here,I jsut fed her rodents, but I think corn on the knob coulb be more dangerous if somebody chokes you or hits you with it, so how come it is still legal?
