I am going to be in Cameroon for a few weeks this winter looking to photograph and observe Gaboon Vipers in the Southern rainforest belt. Anyone happen to know of any good guides/ex-hunters/exporters or enthusiasts in the region that could help an American herper on very new--and potentially bewildering--terrain?

Hey Archie, if you go to West Africa, call me up and I'll go too. I'll meet you in Lubbuck and we can go from there. If you get the boat, I'll get the food and gas.
If we don't go to West Africa, let's make sure we get back to your beautiful West Texas Mesa this spring and catch some pictigasters. Blain
