The mods did remove the ad for 2 atrox's shipped via Fedex.I just cant believed the Mod called the guy a baby for complaining about the ad.

Someone really should start up a service to ship Venomous snakes like UPS or Fedex (using tjem as an example) or maybe not justs pecilizing in venomous but in other species to. Who ever did it could use heated/airconditioned trucks etc. I think it would be a good buisness venture if someone could legaly get a lisence to do it ^_-.

Yea its only 350 miles to my nearest delta verified shipper.I wish some other lines would do hots like years ago.

Fed Ex, UPS, etc will never ship venomous - there just isn't enough of a market to make it profitable for them. I haven't had any problems with Delta.

i don;t mean just in shipping venomous only but that ships all sorts of herps an inverts but that will shipp venomous as long as its baoxed properly. Delta dash is great but only if you live close to a delta hub as it wont go to just your nearest air port which blows -_- thats been abig thing with me as i can;t order any venomous i want online because its nearly 2 hours for me to get to atlanta.

IMO and I might get a lot of people upset over this. It is part of the venomous hobby. We are not talking about harmless reptiles. Stuff happens boxxes break. having fed ex ship them puts a lot of people at risk.
2 hours is nothing really. If you want the animals then a few hour drive is worth it. My drive is a little over an hour.
Sure would it be cool? I guess. But Really.....It is not that bad

Gary makes a great point.
We are not talking about shipping books, we are talking about shipping a potentially deadly animal, that if a mistake happens, could kill someone, and could make venomous animals illegal in a state.
The lazy folks will always complain that there is not a venomous shipper hub on every corner, but human nature dictates that folks are lazy and stupid, and will not follow the rules for safe shipping.
By keeping shipping to the Delta Hubs, you have at least bit of control of the situation. Still not great, as the folks at the hub can be dumb as a brick also, but, at least, there is a chance for safety.

I shipped Delta starting in the early 80s. They moved from our local airport.Then we had a delta provider that linked our flights to Dallas.Now we have to drive to Dallas 350 miles one way so it is a 12 hour drive round trip.It sucks but we all still do it.It is not lazy to went our international airport to have an alternate provider .I do not think it will ever happen.So now a 100 dollar snake becomes a 300 dollar snake with shipping and gas.Not to mention the day off of work I have to take to drive it so it becomes a 500 dollar snake.I know it is my choice to keep these god forsaken little beasts so if I want something It must be exactly what I want.This is good in alot of ways no waisted snakes.So I love my little snakes and will travel to the ends of the earth to get what I want.Only now resale is a joke for those who want a profit.I never started this for profit in fact I will give away more than I ever sale.Well John I think you made my point it is a safe and legal means to continue my hobby.Archie
