Just watched Mananswers on Spike TV and they said that a Reticulated Python kills faster than a Cobra. The Python would kill in 3 minutes and the Cobra in 15 minutes. What do you think?

Kill what? I have seen a cobra, which, by the way, has nowhere near the hottest venom around, drop a mouse in less than thirty seconds.

It really mattes on the prey item and the venomous snake we are talking about. Also matters on what prey item and what snake we are talking about when it comes to venomous.
I have seen Asain vines kill anoles very fast but when it come to killing a large mammal they will struggle.
A lot goes into it.

The show was using a human as a prey item. I personally don’t think it matters dead is dead last time I checked. But I would rather fight off a constrictor than to try to get AV fast enough for a cobra bite if I was out in the woods.

A retic can certainly kill a large mammal quick. As others have stated there are snakes more dangerous than cobras. I have always maintained that a large constrictor is just as dangerous as any hot. Treat them all with respect and caution. Take care.

It depends on a lot of factors, including the size of the python and the size and species of cobra, but I think the general idea is pretty accurate.
If a large retic gets around your neck and you're alone and unarmed, you're done for and you will be dead very quickly. Whether 3 minutes is realistic depends somewhat on your definiton of "dead".
15 minutes would actually be pretty quick for a cobra bite but I'm sure it's happened.
However...it would take a fairly large python to have a reasonable chance of killing an adult human, and then usually only if they don't have help availible. And the consequences of 99.99% of python bites are slight to insignificant, requiring no more than a good cleaning.
