I'm just back from
interviewing witch
doctors, hunters and
bushmeat dealers in
Cameroon about their
dealings with the Gaboon
Viper. A really
interesting--if
disheartening and
sometimes stomach-
turning--couple of
weeks. As a tonic of
sorts, I'd love to see a
good-size, long-term,
well-kept collection
including Gaboons here
in the states. Anyone
have such a collection
and be willing to have me
visit/talk with you about
your experiences?
