Just got back from the EVERGLADES and wanted to share some of the fun. We started in Shark Valley and found a mud snake right off the bat, and then a fl swampsnake. After dark we headed out to Loop Rd and and found my first Everglades rat and okeetee corn in the same strecth of road. The gators were all over the road and after dark we netted a few, took some pics and let them go. We also caught 2 yellow rats, brown watersnake, and a million geckos, but the most wonderful thing happened when my buudy netted a 5+ iguana at a canal and I tried to grab him and took a nasty bite on the elbow. I had no idea they could bite so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grey D

Did you see much venomous snakes.? How long were you there.? I plan to go in a few months. Thanks.
