I have stopped the shots for now. Till I can find out the facts maybe I am not like bill haast, maybe I am. I know many others that also take the shot. and I just have to get more info on it first. Injecting venom is dangerous and voodoo science. Real researchers like the late Dr. Minton, Dr. Gold and others have shown that the risks out weight the benefits. It is very dangerous to take medical advice from non doctors. As for a lay doctor knowing what to look for in your blood to test for risk factors. There are no tests available. As for Tim and Harold both are not real researchers because they are not publishing in a peer reviewed papers or books. You can claim anything but without objective ( not subjective) observations there is no science. For those that don't know tissue damage is not always related to a toxin. You can still lose your arm or leg if bitten. Also LD's are estimated for humans so we really only know what kills 50% of mice usually tested iv and not sc. There is a huge differences between humans and mice as well as iv and sc injection. We are giving kids bad information when we talk about what Tim and others do as being science. Haast has been on life support several times and lost tissue. So think before you put a needle in yourself. Jim Harrison

I have had to look at this hard and long. And as I said, I have stopped the injections for now. But I plan to do the best research I can on it. I know it has bad effects, as well as good ones. At least for us that can not take antevinin. I know there is a world of larning to do on this subject, But I for one would like to be a part of it. Not as in see how long it takes to kill me, but To really study the effects on the body. How do I get the right tests.? and the right care.? Thank you Spanky

I do not beleave thare is no tests, with all do respect. there is tests for everything. I am going to start a post about the subject. Thanks Spanky

Ther is no such thing as a necessary risk when dealing with venom. Anyone with any common sense would agree with that statement. If they don't, they, along with yourself, have no business working with these animals.
