hello all, well things seem to be just fine with my cobra. the coughing sound he makes must be harmless. no signs of RI. i noticed that he dose it for a while after eating. then it subsides until after the next feed. he is eating fine, and is in shed at the moment. thanks to everyone for all of their advice and help..Danny

Thanks for keeping us informed Danny.
Sometimes with a new animal, wait and see can be the best answer if you are not really familiar with the species.
I am pretty sure one of our curatorial friends said to just listen to it from a spot where you wouldn't be seen.
Sometimes you can learn some pretty interesting things about your animals if they don't know that you are there.
