"Exceeding that which is natural or regular" by your definition, would mean Unnatural or Irregular. In either case, a preternatural skeptic does not mean EXTA skeptical…. unless, of course, you are a skeptical vampire or sasquatch or yeti or something, in which case you WOULD be a preternatural skeptic. If so than I stand corrected!
As for which proof I might require to believe in Floridian green mamba attacks, I’ve already stated it, an actual green mamba.
Since the only information I have is widely varying and conflicting news accounts as well as 2nd person reports on this forum, I’m afraid I must remain a supernatural skeptic.

Perhaps you should revisit your English classes, as exceeds that which is natural and supernatural are quite different in connotation and denotation, the same with irregular. Skepticism can be healthy, unless it is to the point of nonsense. Simply stating that something is not so, does not make it not so. An event does not require your belief to be true, so you may believe what you wish. As the facts are made available and I have seen them presented by credible sources, there is a greater likelihood that it did occur than did not. You are simply seeking a piece of evidence that is not likely to be forthcoming - a green mamba located in the area so that your belief cannot be challenged. As it is very likely that this discussion, I would not consider it a true debate, could go on ad infinitum, perhaps this would be a good time to agree to disagree. Otherwise this seems to be on the way to a schoolyard debate of - "Yes it is", "No its not" and I have neither the time nor inclination to engage in that style of "debate".

Well the last few post have nothing to do with facts of the story or any more info,it is dealing with skeptics, skepticism, how to properly define them and what they really mean and so on a so forth..So,it is safe to say that it has taken a BIT of a different road

Al said it very well which has since gotten buried in a flurry of ridiculous rhetoric. Folks can cry all they want that this didn't happen but the bottom line is that previous incidences similar to this, due to extremely irresponsible ownership, only exasperate the current incident. Personally, my primary concern is for the health and well being of the person who got bit - an innocent person just doing his job. Shame on us.

I was not I swore I would not.Come on Rob shame on us for what, we did nothing. It is not a crime to disagree with no proof.Al said nothing with any evidence at all.The only one with any credible evidence at all is Joe.There is no reason to attack each other.Last time I checked this is the usa.Just because I look up to you Rob as a true pioneer and others on this thread does not mean I should believe blindly with out solid evidence. If it is a mamba it should be collected before it hurts someone else.I for one hope the comcast worker recovers. What would be a shame if every one accepted this as fact with no solid proof.I have accepted that those in the center of this believe this is a mamba I will not debate that point any more .I will just hope one is found and soon. What I would say shame on you for is if any one would not have questioned the loose facts this story has created. This thread and the other one have been very interesting. This is for you personally Rob .Years ago on kingsnake I wrote several posts that were badly misspelled .You kept getting on my ass about it I did not get mad but instead took out the dictionary and learned to spell correctly .You helped me thanks. With out that help I do not think I would of continued to be taken seriously .Did you mean to help me I do not know but you did.It is threads like this that show that this community really does have some problems coming to gather. If we look at this we should be able to learn and grow closer from our differences.

Archie, Rob was not saying shame on us for disagreeing. He meant shame on us for letting disagreement slide into personal attacks.
Mike, sorry the Monty Python reference was probably a little too subtle (I couldn't help it.)
