Exactly how many albino Kraits and pied spitters are there out there? I've seen both of those snakes for sale on kingsnake, and I think ERJ had them both (but I'm not sure). Maybe he's just a flipper...

Everyone should be very cautious of anything that is posted on the Classifieds here, or, anywhere else, for that matter.
Do some research before you send your money to someone half way across the country, or, even in another country.
Many websites allow you to ask about previous dealings with vendors. Take advantage of that. Check out the dealers on Fauna Classifieds, even if that site has now become a bit of a witch hunt. Ask the vendor to provide references of satisfied and dis-satisfied customers.
"Flippers" are not violating the Classified posting policy of this site, as they just might have a working relationship with a wholesaler or importer.
Chris, Karl, Al, and I do not have time to investigate everyone who posts here. If you have a legitimate problem with a vendor, then write to us, and we will investigate. If it turns out the vendor is doing something illegal, or, is cheating folks, they will be banned from the site.
But, remember the old adages: "Let The Buyer Be Ware," "There's a Sucker Born Every Minute," "A fool and his money are easily parted," etc...........
Just because someone posts here in our Classifieds is NOT any kind of endorsement that the person running the ad is legitimate. We offer Free Classifieds as a free service to this website. We remove scam posts every day. But, we can not police them all.
Be smart consumers. Try to purchase reptiles in person when ever possible. Use a Credit Card, as some of those offer fraud protection. The world is full of crooks just waiting for the next mark to come along.
Do not be that mark !
Best Regards & Merry Christmas

Well said John! It still amazes me to this day when folks send money blindly to a person or company that they don't even know. It's usually quite easy to spot a fake ad from a legitimate ad but some imposters/scam artists do become very creative. If I'm dealing with someone I don't know, I usually ask for the following:
1) A reference from a Veterinarian including phone and the name of their clinic (if that isn't possible, we have a coupe of other of layers of checks and balances).
2) A reference from a nature center, zoo, museum or recognized facility (or, if that isn't possible, it has to be a reference from someone that I work closely with as they would have as much to lose by giving a false recommendation).
If they can't, at the very least, provide these, we simply don't do business with them. And remember, if it's too good to be true....stay away.
