I have never understood the need to hybridize snakes or inbreed them for a "super hypo spiderman blizzard"...but I must say those are interesting animals. I must say that I would be a little freaked out if you asked me to ID the species. The bodies look like piscivorus...but the heads scream contortrix. It'll be interesting to see what they look like as adults.

I agree about mixing two seperate species to create something that is neither. Each to their own though.

As long as the hybreds are never miss represented I see no problem. They should stay captive and in a collection so there is no danger to wild populations just a curiosity .There are worse out there.

I am not saying anything about the guy that had those listed, but in general…ask to see a DNA profile if they did not breed them and can document it. Couple years ago, I bought one off a dealers table that he had listed as a CB cottonmouth. I knew the guy and knew he housed his coppers and cottons together. I sent the shed to be tested and it was a hybrid. I told him about it and since then any “pretty” cottonmouth with good color gets listed as a hybrid, but the VAST VAST majority are not. To give you something to go by, the last CB F1 hybrids that were actually offered for sale went for $350. When I got my CB 05 female as part of a group trade, she was on the table for $700. “Buyer beware” if the snakes are not documented.
