I'm not sure if it is some sort of secret but I am curious what vendors will be there and how many of them are Venomous vendors and how many venomous tables have been reserved? I understand all tables have been reserved so is there a list of what vendors will be there, I would like to review it. (I may be blind but didn't see this list posted on your site)

Look for the updated list in the next day or two. We have got more to add because that was the list before the sell out of tables.

Victory Reptiles is vending there? Matt must be doing your show and my San Antonio show at the same time! LOL! He must have changed his mind about vending at mine.

Randal,
I was wondering about that! I was told he was going to San Antonio just the other day along with Glades Herp. I wonder why 2 Florida boys feel it is worth the drive VS Columbia???
I am curious, who had this date (weekend) first?

Scott,
This has been hashed out a few times here.
Once more, My dates were set 5 years ago, we set them 5 yrs in advance. It is posted on our website for all to see.
Next year, 2010, our dates are set for the next 5 yrs, but hasn't been posted on our website yet. We added a 4th show due to demand from our vendors. If anyone wants to know our dates for next year, email us at expos@Texasreptiles.com we will be glad to tell anyone. Matt, (Victory Reptiles) has vended at our show in San Antonio before and Glades hasn't missed our show in 10 yrs.running. Dean Murphy will be back this year as well.
I feel our San Antonio Expo doesn't affect the Columbia show at all, because it attracts mostly vendors from the east, whereas our's attracts vendors from all over, but mainly central and western U.S.
I'm sure Repticon Show in Columbia isn't affected by our shows either, no matter what dates they are on.
Our show next weekend, was set, 5 yrs ago.
Best,
Randal Berry

Randell is correct! Neither show is effect by the other no matter what dates they fall on.
Just a FYI...Our vendor list has not been updated in a few weeks. Victory cancelled a week or so ago.
Now can we get this thread back on topic, Please?

"Neither show is effect by the other no matter what dates they fall on"
I disagree and the proof has been stated here...
I'm not taking sides and not trying to start a fight however as you pointed out Victory Reptile canceled with Columbia to go to San Antonio. Sure this is one vendor but what if Matt has something I want but now I miss out because he is in San Antonio? Maybe Glades would go to Columbia (maybe, not saying they would).
Vendors picking sides do cause problems and isn't picture perfect as you both state. The Venomous community is small and Vendors choosing sides does affect the customers in one way or another. It may not be or seem like a big deal with 1 or 2 but it does mean 1 or 2 vendors (could be more) less at the show.
But yes, I will leave it alone...Back on topic.
Look forward to the show next week.
