Had a blast this weekend at the show. Kudos to the Repticon team/staff, the Elrods, and the vendors for making this an awesome show. It was great seeing old friends and making new ones. Picked up some amazing animals at the show thanks to Coastal Zoological. Robert and Summer are some of the best people you could ever meet. Also thanks to Al of Green Desert for the table space and female crestie gecko. To the Lesh family thanks as always for the hospitality.

I'm not a huge people person so I took off around 1pm Saturday but I did have a good time while I was there. I went in, check ed out the tables a few time (Incase I missed something as the first few sweeps were trying to find something fast before someone else grabbed it). I also talked and met some of you and put names with faces.

It was a fun show, and it was good to get to meet friends from the internet in person.
Best Regards

Had a great time at the show this weekend! Only complaints are the confusion over mangrove snakes and the atm running out of money... Had a guy, in a repticon shirt, approach me because I was carrying a container that had a mangrove snake inside it. He said that they had to be escorted out and I told him that was strange because there were several vendors in the nonvenomous section with them... I think he attempted to locate and "bust" them as well.... I later was informed that he didn't know what he was talking about because the people that put on the show said they were fine in the nonvenomous as long as they had tape or clamps... I think it'll cause less frustration in the future, for vendors and customers alike, if everyone is on the same page with what is or isn't the protocol... As for rear-fanged mildly venomous goes, if mangroves are gonna be looked upon in such a way that this guy claimed then I guess hognoses, tarantulas, giant centipedes and the like should be pushed to the "venomous" section as well... The atm running out of money during the last hour of the show was frustrating as well and I'm sure it hurt sales.... I know I wasn't able to pick up a few more things myself because of it (now multiply that by several hundred people)... Other than that, I had a great time and picked up some great animals... Also would like to give a big THANK YOU to Paul Moody of Easterndiamondbacks.com, Robert Nimmo of Peaceriverherps.com, Jared Watts of Soggy Bottom Serpents, and Bill Rosser of Reptaquatics.com for some real high-quality outstanding animals!!! My only regret was not bringing enough cash, lol, and that'll NEVER happen again :) Thanks again!

I'll agree with what everyone else has said-it was a great show, very well attended, with no bad incidents(that I know of, anyway)to mess things up. There was a fantastic selection, no matter what your tastes, including some species I hadn't seen offered or displayed before. It wasn't a "Ball Python/Leopard Gecko" show, although there were plenty of those to be purchased, but had a large variety of animals and supplies. There were also some really great deals, especially on Boas. The USARK auction drew a good crowd Saturday evening and as usual, was a lot of fun. I picked up a really nice little female baby Pastel Hypo Boa at the auction(by the way, if anyone knows who bred her, drop me a line, since I want to find out more about her genetics). I was there at LeRoy Adams' table both days, and finally sold the last of my baby Water Snakes, other than my hold-backs. This was definitely one of the best shows I've been too; made up for the Charlotte show, that's for sure.

I had an absolute blast. I go my first pair of hots as well as a few impulse buys resulting in a greater siren and a Goliath birdeater.
Thanks to everyone for making it all the better.
