The species I have is Acanthophis Praelongus. They are from Northern Australia. They were wild caught and ended up at the Poole serpentarium where they were bred on a number of occations. The young went to zoos and scientific institutions around the World. London zoo had some of the offspring which also bred, one of them came out striped, something unknown even in Australia. I came by my pair of offspring from the original pair as the Poole serpentarium had to close last September.John.
