I can not believe what pet trade has come to. as a biology/veterinary medicine studnet i am sickened by the following statement:
.....therefore, i have to give it away for NOTHING...my only other alternative is to kill it, which i don't wanna do....i can't be reimbursed for shipping or anything, so it's a pickup deal only.....common snapper, too small to sell/trade, 100%free....email me if you wanna come get it....peace
Lets remember that that turtle is a living thing and not an item in a collection. it has thoughts and feelings. seeing garbage like this only adds to my belief that the ownership of reptiles should be restricted to those in the scientific community or those who can provide the proper care.
i really feel that anyone making these childish statements should refrain from owning any animals. i can not even contemplate someone like this owning a venomous animal!!
thoroughly sickening. infact i am going to stop tying before i vomit.

come visit limestone county around the ardmore area.....more COMMON(not alligator) snappers here than anywhere i've lived in north alabama...recent floods have ruined a lot of places they hang out and are causing them to be ran over all over the place...more flooding today, not a lot, but still.......i WON'T let him go in a creek around here, and i've attempted to let him go in a pond or two but the land owners wouldn't let me....so when my neck heals and i'm able to get time off of work when the sun is actually up, then i'll make a trip to the river and let him go somewhere he'll be safe...this is the last thing on my to do list....if you assholes had a clue then maybe it would be different, but who cares......i've removed the classified ad, i want to request my account be deleted if possible because i don't plan on returning to this somewhat helpful site(i know that saddens so many) and i'll do my thing....so call the DNR and/or whomever else you see fit to handle the "threats" that were never made, cuz i said i'd visit him, don't assume things people.....i'll release the little guy somewhere that he won't be run over by a car or boat ASAP.....i liked turtles way before i did snakes so i'm not gonna dump him off somewhere....we're all meddling with nature by keeping any living thing, but also by building homes, offices, garages, etc, so don't fool yourselves into thinking you're one of the few who do nothing wrong...peace and i hope you all live a happy life....lol
