Randal, I can not send you a invite, because one of your privacy settings on Facebook is preventing me sending it.
When I go to my friends list, your photos is there, but grayed out, and it will not let me click on it.
I can see the same thing on a few others who are on my Facebook Friends.
I am not sure what setting causes this, but perhaps someone will be able to tell us. In the mean time, I would suggest you go to your Facebook "Settings" menu, and then to the "Privacy" settings, and look those over.
It is most likely a setting in Applications and Websites that is preventing you from getting in to the Bushmaster Site.
Are you getting blocked on my Sistrurus and Aspidelaps sites also ?
Hopefully, someone here who knows a lot about the Facebook Settings will help us out on this.
Best Regards
John Z

Randal, check under Blocked Applications for "Causes."
It is easy to block causes when someone sends you something about joining mafia wars, and farmville, etc.
But, that would also block invites from things like the Bushmaster page.

Alexander, the site is already there on FaceBook, and it is called "All Things Agkistrodon."
It was created by Fred Boyce, and is an excellent site.
Check it out at:

Proud to be member of all three of these fine groups though circumstances have limited my ability to spend much time on "Snakebook" lately. I regret that my own groups have been a bit neglected [by me] but they do seem to take on a life of their own. "Don't Tread on Me," which is meant to generate appreciation, respect and understanding of the rattlesnake as a national symbol, has attracted a few Tea Party types who seem incapable of grasping that the group is about rattlesnakes and not politics... I recently joined a new group with the unwieldy name of "Viperidae: True Vipers, Pit Vipers and Crotalines - Rattlesnakes." Don't know who started it, but there are a lot of very impressive photos in the gallery, especially of neotropical pit vipers. John Mendrola has recently started a "Pennsylvania Woodland Herpetological" site, and one of my all-time favorites is "I Brake for Turtles" [and, of course, the "Wolfgang Wuster Appreciation Society"]
