I am writing this in regards to the last post I had: Age limit for permits. I am happy people for the responses and the support that I got on my last post. I am also happy that there are others that agree that military personnel should be allowed to keep at 18, not the proposed 21. How they are working the change is they are having people go to the Division of Wildlife Resources website to send in e-mails of suggestions. I would ask anybody here from Utah and anybody else who wants to send in an e-mail of suggestions to do so. I have been in Army National Guard for two and a half years. I was excited when I saw that this change was being proposed but was then disappointed at the proposed age limit. I will be twenty in April and my unit is currently green for deployment. That means that though I don't have a deployment date at the moment, I could in the next year. and you can never guarantee that you are going to come back from any deployment you have. Again I strongly recommend that anybody from Utah and anybody else would like to support this please do so. And please put in a word on the age limit for us military guys as well. The person who you want to e-mail is Fred Oswald. he is a chair on the Utah advisory counsel for salt lake. his e-mail address is: ofm1@qwest.net. the hearing is from the ninth to the 17 I think.
