I thought it was terrible, Animal Planet isnt interested in producing educational television anymore it's showing nothing but sensational programs to grab ratings and to play to people's fears.

What julian said.On a side note my dad and sister preached to me on the evils of gambian rats as well as burmese pythons on AP.aS NOW THEY ARE EXPERTS AND i KNOW VERY LITTLE AS I MISSED THE SHOW.Tom C. a very good friend of mine worked on the pbs show and it had realistic and factual evidence presented on it.Come on guys this is a war and hear our battle cry.I will also tell you that my snakes are not pets but specimens in a collection. All ways will be.My dad has let me keep rattlesnakes from the age of 12 at 11 I kept them but lied about it.They were telling me about deadly attraction when people put alturistic types of views on there exotic pets. These people will kill this hobby. Now I will piss some people off.But here I go pit bulls are not pets like lassie period these are lions and leopards in dog cloths.I have kept pit bulls as well as bobcats and have been a lion and tiger trainer. No child should be left alone or even be subject to the dangers these animals represent period. As a long term keeper of pit bulls in my house like my own kids I realize this is a fact.My little pit bull terriers wont hurt a fly bullshit they do and will kill with out any cause or reason it is what they were bred for.Do not get me wrong pits are loveing family pets here me family pets.No one should put a child in harms way with a king cobra tiger bobcat pitbull. You guys that do are the fault of legislation that has started the ban process of all deadly animals.I am an advocitt of your rights to own all deadly animals but come on people use your head Rattle snakes are not boas.I have said this before and will say it once more John Z Randal B.Al c.Tom c. Karl B. THESE ARE MY HEROS AS WELL AS OTHERS AND THEY ALL STAND ON THIS FIREING LINE OF LIFE WITH US SOLDERS IN OUR CAUSE.wE NEED TO START UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS AT STAKE FOR US ALL IS THIS HOBBY.Pit bulls are not this hobby but they reresent a large number of us as do coral snakes. So look alive people it is comeing our way and the fight has only just begun.

Somebody has been drinking the AR Kool-Aid...quick, Pictigaster, PUT IT DOWN!! IT'S BAD FOR YOU! They want to convince you that "Animal A"(which you can call what you want..."pit bulls"(a non-existant breed of dog), Burmese Pythons, wolf-"hybrids"(again, a non-existant animal), Bengal cats...just insert the animal name of your choice...are too dangerous to live among humans and should be eliminated. After they succeed in doing just that, they move on to another animal...and another, and another...until there are none left. If they can't get their agenda passed via the "Cruel to Keep 'em" Card, they play the "Threat to Humanity Card". Either way they win, we ALL lose. If you believe all the negative hype about one animal, you might as well believe it all, since it stems from the SAME SOURCE!

What really freakin grinded my gears was the (ex?) curator of reptiles from the Cinncinnati zoo saying that people who keep hots or even reptiles in general do it for their egos and that we don't ACTUALLY enjoy keeping them........That really really had me goin......

Ok I might of drank something.I never mentioned bengal cats they are good cats.I mentioned bobcats 40 pound man .eaters.As I write this I have a ADBA pit bull at my feet he is so sweet like my child. That is my choice.A child does not have that right.Dogs act different at times and it should be respected that a child could be harmed by a pit in a bad mood.My daughter slept with a pit bull in her bed from 4 to age 15 she painted his finger nails made him wear dresses had tea partys with him.He would defend her with his life. But alas he would get jealous of other kids around her. With pits 99% of the time it is nurture not nature. All I am saying are they are just as exotic as a leopard and can do the same damage.

I love pits I had a mix that I had to give to my cousin because some asshole neighbor called him in when she saw me walking him *btw they are illegal here in Dade county* but that's absolutely the sweetest dog i've ever had my grandma's shi tzu is a hundred times more vicious then this dog but a pit bull bite and a shi tzu bite are two totally different things, but still responsible owners shouldnt be punished for the idiots that fight these dogs
