Maybe you could call the Department of Natural Resources (or whatever Mississippi calls it) in your state. That's what most people do when they have a question concerning wildlife. You generally get better help than on a venomous reptiles message board.

Most people that visit this forum, know a lot about the laws of venomous and non-venomous reptiles, and even sell both. I think that is what SHHS is all about., venomous and non-venomous. thanks for the advice. Spanky

That was a cheap shot. Fabian didn't flame anyone or post anything out of the ordinary, he just asked a question....Spanky, I'm guessing, and may be completely wrong, but you probably need proof that it came from a breeder. A. mississippiensis is federally protected throughout it's range. Simply being in possession of one may be a violation. They are, however, allowed in some states provided they are captive bred. Forgive me if my info is wrong.....

Wls967 Thank you for your kind replay. Some people here are as rude as they come. I made a few post about my bad handling of venomous snakes, ( getting bit to many times) and for some reson everyone wants to put me down. I have had several elapids now, and I geuss I have done everything just right, I have not been bit. please folks give me some slack. I just what to learn like you. isn't that what this site is for. Thanks spanky.
