Folks, our friend Jason Clark's new TV show "Snakes Kin" will premiere tonight on Animal Planet.
There will be two episodes back to back, starting at 10:00.
This is exactly the kind of show that we have all been wanting to see on Animal Planet. It will not be the kind of hyped up show that Animal Planet has recently been airing.
Everyone try to support Jason and watch the show.

That show is awesome! Restored some of my faith that Animal Planet can present shows that actually educate and promote ANIMALS, rather than exploiting them and spreading fear and false propaganda. Also really cool how just a regular guy can become the next Steve Irwin. :) I hope the show goes on for a long time...great to see Copperheads get some airtime too.

I watched the shows and thought they were more realistic than the other shows on snake people. Good job Jason, hope this series stays on the air for a while. I thought the female Eastern Diamondback looked familiar, Jason had got a female from me about a year back and it looks like the same one. Wish there was more footage of the albino canebrake in there :)

I missed it unfortunately. Is it going to air again, at a different time? VCR is busted, can't get DVR or TIVO out here, and as silly as this sounds, 10:00 is too darn late when you have to get up at 5:00 am and have a roomful of Jr. Highschoolers to deal with by 7:00 am. I'm afraid the show won' make it until the summer rerun season because it sounds like it's actually a good show, not centered on pushing the "fear factor" and exploiting the public's misconceptions about snakes, unlike most Animal Planet fare. In other words, it's probably not what most of their viewers want to see.
