I have dealt with and kept burms for 10 years and the one on the left looks like the blonde coloration to me. Not saying he is based on not seeing the parents but the light colors do resemble this type of color morph.

To correct myself it looks like a hypo. These used to be called platinums a long time ago. Sorry had blonde in my head and typed it on accident.

I have to agree with Rob. I wouldn't discount that there is something unusual going on. Yes there is a bit of variation with the normals of a species, but that's pretty extreme. I would assume it carries some kind of trait that almost expresses itself as incomplete dominance rather than simple recessive.

Here's some advice....don't breed the burms. Market is flooded with them, too many folks can't take care of them properly, and rescues are inundated with burms that they can't place (that will eventually get put down). With the restrictions we face now I think its time for our herp community to come together and start showig that we are responsible in how we approach this part of our hobby. Don't get me wrong - I, too, LOVE Burms and other large constrictors but its obvious we have too many in captivity a there just aren't enough qualified homes to take care of them. Just my .02.
