Im going to Myrtle Beach on the 17th for three days with my dad and his friend. I'm hoping to go herping at least one day, so can anyone direct me to a good spot, preferably a copperhead hotspot(I havn't seen a wild one that wasn't blown to pieces in about four years).

If you can hook up with Jamey Sargent, he should be able to show you to some good herping spots in and around Horry County. I know that there are some awesome Nerodia there, since I got six from him a couple of weeks ago(helped make my semi-invalid condition a little more tolerable)that includes a couple of real "screamers", and since you've got "NerodiaJr." as a user name, you might be rather fond of those, too.

Wonder what it is about Horry County? The Nerodia there blow just about everything else away, one of the reddest "Flame" strains of Eastern Garters came from Horry Co., and the only albino Canebrake I know of was collected in Horry County.

They all hit up the strip clubs, bars, tourist traps, and tatoo parlors that infest Myrtle Beach. Party snake = awesome patterns :-)
