How anyone else seen Manny Rubio's new book "Rattlesnakes of the United States a& Canada" published last month by ECO Press? I just received mine today. If you liked Manny's book "Portrait of a Predator" you will also love this book. It includes hundreds of full color new photos and a few form the first book. First 90 pages is general info about the rattlesnakes from anatomy to round-ups and everything in between those two topics. Pages 91-284 are species accounts which starts with a features at a glance ( scale picture of length, disposition & venom potential scale, conservation status & population threats, habitats and an updates distribution map)then describes characteristics, venom, range & habitat preferences, hibernation & aestivation, reproduction, food, enemies, variants with color pictures.Describes each species and most subspecies found in US and Canada. Total of 308 pages. Was only 29.95 and well work the price and they also have a hard cover edition for $50+. Also, had got mine within a week of ordering. I'm not a book reviewer but love rattlesnakes and love this book. Tim M.

Thanks for the reminder, I just ordered mine! Manny said there will also be a signed, limited edition available, but I don't remember from whom to order that. It was a little pricey, but what the heck?
